Beginning on January 1, 2023, the city of Forney has made it mandatory for each player using a city of Forney athletic complex to purchase a sports parks user pass. This includes players that play for FYBA, Forney Soccer, MESA, FYFL, Red Raiders football, adult sports and more. This pass is mandatory to be able to register for any sport that uses a city of Forney athletic field. This pass is a one time per year purchase. This pass works for all youth sports. If your kid plays soccer and football, this pass covers all sports during the calendar year. Same with baseball, softball or any other sport that uses a city of Forney field. If you play spring and fall soccer, you only need to purchase this pass once per year. Not each season and not for each sport. This fee is $10 for all players that live within the city limits of Forney. The fee is $50 per player that does not live in the city limits of Forney.
Please click this link and pay the city of Forney parks pass fee before you start your registration process. You will have to upload the receipt during FSA registration.
There should never be parking on that grass area by amphitheater.
There should also never be anyone parked in the park's small office by the fields on the main road into the park. That parking is reserved for park staff and those attending meetings.
Families may utilize the parking lot in front of the Soccer Complex or across the street by the playground. Families may also park at the softball fields and walk across the bridge to the soccer fields.
