The games for May 4th have been cancelled. Rescheduling is complete.
PLEASE contact your commissioner with scheduling issues - there is really no room to move games without permission from 3 other teams for a direct switch. Field and referee availability are factors as well as the well being of players - i.e. we don't want young kids playing the night before a STAAR test - we don't want 4 year olds playing at 7pm. We also have coaching conflicts to consider (but all coaches should have an assistant for this reason). Please consider your request before contacting your commissioner.
Opening Day is Saturday, March 20th!
Please keep in mind that the schedule is subject to change especially after a rainout.
Play it safe, and check often.
Good Evening Soccer Family!
This Saturday will be a busy day at the Forney Community Park. The city will be hosting a police K9 event on the practice fields by the Amphitheater. Please be aware that during this competition, they will be shooting blanks. Please also note that there is to be no parking on that grass area.
There should also never be anyone parked in the park's small office by the fields on the main road into the park. That parking is reserved for park staff and those attending meetings. Families may park at the softball fields and walk across the bridge to soccer fields.
We have also been made aware that there will be a choir performance in the Amphitheater in the afternoon.
Please allow extra time to get parked and get to your field. Thank your cooperation.
See you Saturday for another awesome day of soccer!
You will need to register as a coach, then login to your coach account on gotsoccer.com and submit a background check. Background checks only need to be done ONCE a year - renewed in May before June 1st. Also, you have to complete both the Concussion and SafeSport courses, or North Texas will not let you coach as of 1/1/2020. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org so that she can get you assigned as the coach of the team.
